Stayed for 4 days and would definitely book again. We travelled into the city every day and it was cheaper than booking a hotel closer.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spotless. Just brilliant all round.

We went down for dinner in the restaurant (which seemed to have plenty of tables available) only to be told that we would have to wait 2 hours. The staff member offered no rational explanation only that "it all comes from the same kitchen." She then admonished me for not having booked. I was never told (nor do I think it necessary) that booking a dinner table is required in what is essentially a stopover hotel near an airport. We then had to drive to the nearest Quality Inn where we were given a table immediately and very good service.

This comfortable if somewhat anonymous-feeling hotel had everything we needed after a late night arrival at Edinburgh airport, most especially a huge, very comfortable bed, good thick blackout curtains for a late lie-in the next morning and a well equipped spotlessly clean bathroom. The friendly receptionist had everything all ready and waiting for us when we arrived, so we took less than five minutes from stepping out of the taxi to opening our room door.

What is not clear from the website is that this "airport hotel" is not at the airport, but a ten pound, fifteen minute taxi ride away from the airport. To my way of thinking, you should be able to walk from the airport to an airport hotel. If you know in advance, and can factor it in, fine. If you want something right at the airport, maybe try the Hilton.

Best experience ever in this sort of accommodation somewhat spoiled by incredible delays in Thyme restaurant. Room facing end of runway and motorway connection. Windows sealed - normally poor ventilation would cause sleepless night. However this kept ALL the noise out and the Air Con worked a treat (that is praise indeed from a fresh air fiend). A slight occasional noise from the air con made me think the first night that we were just hearing jets, but no. All other aspects as you would expect - so a "bouquet" well deserved.
The "brickbat" however was also well deserved by the in house Thyme restaurant. Time and tide may wait for no man but this man and his wife grew old waiting for service at Thyme. The food was what you would expect, the waiting was atrocious, for each course. The planned early night just vanished. No real apology either.

This was our first experience with a Premier Inn, and it was a good one. We had a family room. Unlike many family rooms we stayed in on this trip, our son had an actual bed. The room wasn't huge, but was large enough for the 3 twin beds and some room to walk around.

The hotel is pretty new, so everything was clean. I like the security features, such as having to use your key card to get through the hallway door or into the lift.

We got to the hotel around 2 pm, and decided to go into Edinburgh. The x38 bus stops very nearby and takes about 30 minutes to get into the city. It was an extremely convenient way to spend our last evening in Edinburgh. After we returned, my husband went to the bar and enjoyed a cider and chatting with folks who were also staying while I packed for home.

Breakfast was good the next morning, but nothing spectacular. Of course, we really liked that our son could eat free!
