If you have good weather in Edinburgh, then don't miss this chance and go and climb that hill. As much as it is good exercise, it has a really fascinating landscape. And also it's for free. There is no need to pay for Scott Monument or Nelson Monument to see the whole city's scenery. In my opinion, the view from the Arthur's Seat was better than Nelson and Scott Monument. Do not forget to bring something to eat, there is no facility you can buy food or drink. You can have a quick picnic on your way to the top. And don't forget to take a memorial picture on the top of hill ;)
