Booked this hotel because: a) it was close to City Centre, b) we struggled to find anywhere else, c) from details on its website, it looked a cosy, comfortable family run place to stay. To put it mildly, it lacked cleanliness (we had to clean the "residue" left by the last occupant of our room from the toilet bowl) and it is run-down (pealing wallpaper, flaking paint). The breakfast was a let-down (instant coffee, poor quality cereals) and we watched the waitress turn over the table cloths to use their "clean" side. Not one to repeat and we'd advise you only stay there if you can't find anywhere else.
