The accomidation is good, great location, good parking, nice staff ... theres some seedy stuff close by ..... however my two stars refers to how I booked the place. I booked via Lastminute.com and ended up paying way over the odds. If you can compare with the hotel website first before booking, sometimes they have good deals. www.theknightresidence.co.uk

Found this place on TripAdvisor, and it definitely met the high expectations. Charlie & Colin were so helpful. We only stayed one night before transiting on to Gleneagles, and wished we were staying longer. Great location, clean comfy lodgings and helpful staff. Can't ask for more than that!

Edinburgh is a wonderful clean and friendly city! There are lots of things to do and see there. I recommend staying at the Knight's Residence. A wonderful apartment complex. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, fully furnished with two full bathrooms. It easily slept 5 people. It had all the comforts of home. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast items upon arrival! The only draw back was there were no televisions in the bedrooms. They were in the kitchen and living room area. Still the best bargain of all especially for families.
Do see the castle and all the city has to offer. Take a bus tour to the Highlands and see the country side. Well worth every penny!!

My wife and I spent two nights at the Knight Residence after using Tripadvisor and were delighted with our choice.
Charlie & Colin were so helpful, in fact, the most obliging fellows one could wish for. Free Internet was available outside our room and their recommendation on restaurants was ideal.
Our apartment had everything you could wish for and enough provisions for our breakfasts included. To our delight Edinburgh Castle could be seen from our rooms and was enthralling went it was lit up at night. Even though there is a building being constructed across the road, the double-glazed windows kept out any sound. Well done Knight Residence!
