“Cheshire Family Of Five”

Well what can we say about The Knights Residence. What an amazing place to stay,Everything you will ever need in accommodation when visiting the beautiful city of Edinburgh which is within walking distance,Service is second to none here and we were made to feel very very welcome by Charlie (a real lovely bloke) and the little touches like the breakfast pack and colouring books and teddys for the kids to keep was fantastic,Will definitely stay again at this little treasure in such a big city.

The apartment style of the KR is quite well executed. With a kitchen (partially stocked), washer/dryer, sitting room, DVR/BlueRay player, and other amenities, it provides a very good setting. The location is ideal (despite the oft noted two strip clubs nearby) for access to downtown Edinburgh. The University is nearby, Princes Street and the Royal Mile a short walk, and much of the theater district a short walk away.

The design of the "flat" is very nice and relaxing. The furniture good and in good condition.

The only main complaint is the bed -- a few hundred more pounds spent on a mattress would put this place over the top.

We stayed at the Knights residence for 1 night as a family of four. This was one of the few apartments that offered a second bedroom as a twin ideal for our son and daughter. My 9 year old daughter declared she had slept like a baby and had the best nights sleep ever! The apartment was clean, spacious and ideally located for all the sights of Edinburgh, easy walking distance of the castle with bus stops close by. The welcome pack was ideal for breakfast and we had no need to purchase anything else for breakfast or drinks although there is a sainsburys two minutes walk away. We would thoroughly recommend the apartment and would definitely stay again if we revisit Edinburgh.

Fantastic service, very welcoming and informative. A large apartment with everything you could need and very central. Parking spot was a bonus and rare to Edinburgh.
Welcome basket was a very nice surprise, complete with milk, bread, tea, coffee, juice, cereal, butter and jam. Would absolutely stay here again.

I was very impressed by the whole experience, starting with a very cheery and helpful reception team, and the provision or a clean, modern, large apartment for just £100 a night. I have recently stayed in more expensive accommodation that could not match the range of appliances including a proper oven, dishwasher, stereo, DVD player, and a flatscreen TV in both the lounge and the bedroom. An incredibly generous array of bread, milk, cerals, spreads, juices and hot drinks was very much appreciated for a relaxed breakfast. The Residence is centrally located, so most of the old city is within an easy stroll, and there is a Sainsbury's Local conveniently located across the street. The immediate vicinity is perhaps not the most salubrious, featuring a few of Edinburgh's last remaining lap dancing/strip clubs a few yards down the road (I am afraid that I am not in a position to offer reviews of these establishments), but it felt like a safe enough neighbourhood which was reasonably quiet on a week night, even though I had a ground floor, street facing, apartment.

Brilliant service, specially like to thank Chris. He was more than welcoming and made our stay as comfortable as possible. There a basket to get us started in the apartment as well completely unexpected. Would Definately recommend. Perfect location for town as well.
