I attended beirut with my partner and had an excellent night. The choice and quality of the food on offer was great and the staff were very accommodating.

“Fantastic food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Took a punt on Beirut after reading favorable reviews: Brilliant. We enjoyed everything we ate. The fish dish for our main and the mixed kebabs were highlights but the star has to go to the chicken wings: Delicious. Our waitress was average at best albeit friendly. A bit of attentiveness would have driven me to a 5, however I will be back again. Excellent value and a fine choice for a midweek feast.

“Excellant place for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

Had lunch today with wife as she had been there last week with a work colleague.
Lunches are £7.95 and £9.95 both for 3 courses with choice of Baklava or tea/coffee for dessert.

Pity the restaurant was quiet (only 2 couples there including us) but food really delicious. Plenty of choice but recommend the Lebanese Spicy Sausage from the higher menu which went really well with the lemon thick yogurt stater from the cheaper . . nan comes complimentary.

main dishes (Chicken and Lamb) were delicious and evening size portions . . no smaller "lunch" portions here. Cooking time was a bit slow but I think this was because of the dishes we chose for starters - the other couple who chose 2 cold starters were served quickly. Although my wife said that when she was there one evening last week there was no problem with slow delivery of food.

In any event we were not in a hurry and the bottle of Ventoux (byob) went down well.

Recommended as is the Lebanese coffee with cardamon

“Excellent Food, lovely service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

We ate her on Sunday 13th January and were one of only two tables in. The menu was mouthwatering and we had a little trouble deciding on what to eat. It all sounded fabulous. Everything we ordered was extremely tasty and beautifully presented.

The restaurant is unlicensed, but operate a BYO policy. There are several places to buy alcohol a stones throw away, so don't let that put you off. We had 5 starters(meze) and two main courses which cost us £36. This was with a 20% discount. If you go on the restaurants website and subscribe to the newsletter, they will email you the 20% off voucher.
