Spent 2 days at hotel it's in a perfect position in the centre so everything is easy to get to, has its own underground car park which at £8.50 at night is good as most hotels charge £20. We paid £115 for the 2 of us on BB and the rest via airmiles, though i would happily pay the full price. The rooms (like the hotel itself) are very well maintained, contemporary with a massive bed, if you do not like the pillows provided there are 3 other types to choose from, if the beds too hard they will supply a mattrass topper, if its too soft then bed boards i have never come across that in a hotel before and was well impressed although we didnt need to change anything as it was all perfect. Tea & coffee faclilities etc, free safe, lovely quality toiletries, bath sheets as opposed to skimpy bath towels, superb powerful and hot shower. Large flat screen tv with a good selection including sky sports 1, 2 & 3 if you like those. I only have 2 (not really important) 'niggles' besides the dressing table stool there was only 1 chair to relax in which was a shame as the room was large enough to fit 2 with still plenty of room left & there were no drawers just 2 shelves in the wardrobe, as i said not really anything to really moan about . Didnt use the leisure club but it looked really nice, didn't use the bar either as ate & drank out (it was £3.85 for a beer, £6.00 for a large glass of wine so usual hotel prices). The breakfast was excellent, full english/scottish other food kippers, porridge etc made to order (included in price), the continental included meats, cheeses salad, coissants, different breads & pastries, yoghurts probiotic drinks, fresh fruit much more that the usual english 'continental' we ate that much we didn't need anything until the evening, they charge £15.50 if room only but it is definatly worth having. Unfortunatly the breakfast room was being refurbished so i cannot say what it looked like as we were in a conference room, but they had styled that to look as much like a resauraunt as possible and there was a kitchen next to it so all food hot. We shall definatly stay at the hotel again, our last visit was at the Carlton just by it, we had a superior room and it along with other things/manager it was dreadful, totally lacking in quality & customer relations, i think my husband summed the Radisson up when he said everything they do is of the highest quality and we are both hard to please. I recommend the Radisson to all age groups.
