Nice hotel in Edinburgh. Fab location, Just along from train station, but no noise. Practically on the Royal mile, just up a few steps and just across the bridge from princess street, everywhere that you would want to be within Edinburgh only max 5 Min walk away.
Not luxurious, cheap and cheerful. Very standard travel lodge style 3 star hotel. Clean and all you would need for city break style hotel.
Stayed bed and breakfast, nice breakfast, full english or selection of cerals, fruit, yogurt, toast etc. Very nice breakfast, No reason to complain.
Would be perfect for City breaks, groups of friends, families or solo. Very happy with my stay at this hotel and would stay again.

Freezing cold, charmless staff. You'd be better off on a local park bench. I stayed on a night when the mercury was at -5. Advised staff that heating wasn't working and, at first feigned disinterest but eventually sent heater for my room.

When arriving in Edinburgh we go a bus right outside the airport to our hotel which took about 30mins & stoped about a 3 min walk from Jurys Inn.
My mum & I stayed in Jurys Inn for 3 nights in Feb of last year.
Hotel was warm, very clean, staff very friendly & helpful.
Behind our hotel was the Royal Mile which was lovely at night for drinks. Also a 5min walk across the bridge from Prince's street which was great for shopping.
There is also a sightseeing bus which stops outside the hotel & on the bright, it visits many tourist attractions.
I would defo recomend this hotel & would go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much here from 31st December 2012, we were supposed to check out on 2nd January 2013 but stayed until 3rd January 2013. Hotel is in easy reach of the old town, Waverley Station, Princess Street and Castle. The rooms are nice and clean and very spacious. There is disabled parking at the rear of the building. We would stay again.
