My husband and I booked a 3 night stay at The Sheraton Grand for our 1st wedding Anniversary. We initially booked a standard room as there were no club rooms available. The hotel were made aware of our occasion and to our pleasant surprise when we checked in we had been upgraded to a Suite room (Tay suite 536) - it was a wonderful surprise. The Hotel is perfectly situated within close proximity of Pricess Street where all the shops are and it's also close to Grassmarket where there are some nice pubs and restaurants. The room was huge with 2 TV’s, dining table and chairs, a sofa and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We were given a bath robe and slippers each and some chocolates and a card from the manager, congratulating us on our anniversary, which I thought was a very nice touch. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. We booked the use of the onespa and its facilities for only £20 each as we were hotel guests, my understanding is that if you are not a guest its £65 each. The spa is one of the best I have been to and is immaculate throughout; there are 2 saunas, 2 steam rooms, aromatic showers that smell divine. The hydropool on the roof is a fantastic feature for the spa and is lovely if the sun is out. We had an aromatherapy massage each, a lady called Kylie done mine and she tailored it to meet my needs - an asset to the hotel. I have only good things to say about this hotel, the staff, the rooms, the facilities are all of a high standard and we were made to feel special. I will definitely be returning to The Sheraton in the near future and would like to say a big Thank you to the Manager Mr. Kavanagh.
