I would not stay at this hotel again. For the amount of money that you pay to stay there in even a simple deluxe room, it is not worth the money.
The lobby is beautiful, but as with most hotels, that's where the beautiful ends.
Our room was very HOT. There is no air conditioning. Thankfully they provided a fan. The bathroom was nice in decoration, but the tub didn't drain well and you are standing in water when you take a shower. Our TV didn't work when we tried to turn it on and maintenance had to replace the cables to get it to work. The pillows were worn and lumpy, the sheets were scratchy and had a hole in them and the blanket had a stain. My husband was told that The New York Times was complimentary when we checked in. We received a charge for the Sunday Times because it's "larger and more expensive". Unfortunately, we weren't told this and they didn't offer to take the charge away when we told them at check out.
The Chisholm restaurant was nice and the location is great, but that wouldn't be enough for me to stay again. There's too many other options. Sorry Caledonian, but you really need to try and make your guests more comfortable for the price you make us pay.
