“Beautiful Museum set in two closely situated sites”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Works from the Gallery’s collection are presented plus special loans . The early part of the collection features French and Russian art from the beginning of the twentieth century, cubist paintings and superb holdings of expressionist and modern British art. Special highlights include paintings by Matisse and Picasso. It''s well laid out and spacious. You can wander around to your hearts content.

“Surly staff in restaurant”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

Sad but true staff in restaurant Sunday 28 August 2012 unable to smile, barely managed please and thank you . When asked to produce bacon sandwich at 10am told that can't do this despite having bacon sandwiches on menu because lunch didn't start till 11.30 . Staff advised preparing sandwiches sign says everything prepared to order. On plus side staff in galleries friendly and helpful.

“Soul enriching”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

We went on Sunday to visit the Picasso exhibition. The building is incredibly beautiful and serene with stunning grounds. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. Fantastic visit. The only downside is the restaurant is small, there was a big queue that took ages because they weren't many people serving but once we had food it was delicious

“Great lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

Had a really good lunch in the late October sun when we visited the Picasso exhition. The cafe is really to be recommended. The only reason I haven't given it a full 5 stars is because the queues are too long and the service slow - apart from that the food and the presentation are first class. Good value too.

“Picasso exhibition”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

Well worth seeing although it was a lot to take in on one visit. The mix of artists influenced by Picasso was also interesting.
We walked from The Bonham to avoid parking problems.
