“Ugly ugly ugly”

Absolutely the ugliest building in a beautiful old town. Not worth the visit. The separate little meeting areas were ridiculous. Modern ghastly. Visit old town edinburgh instead

“Very entertaining discussions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2014

We visited this interesting building to watch the Scottish Parliament discuss the formation of a new meat safety board. Several of the members were really good speakers. There are exhibits downstairs regarding the history of Parliament and how Scotland is divided into many regions. The building itself is an architectural wonder, or horror, depending on one's opinion. The architectural models on the first floor are helpful to see the architect's vision. Parliament is in session Tuesday to Thursday afternoons,

“Excellent and Informative Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2014

The tour of parliament was very nicely done, the guide really did a nice job of explaining how the Scottish parliament works in conjunction with Westminster. Especially interesting as it was a week before the vote.

“Great architecture”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

Great architecture. Make sure to go and book a tour it gets you into spaces you can not see on you own. They book up early so make sure to do this first and then see other nearby sights.
