I went to Biblos after a visit at the National Museum of Scotland in early January, proximity being one of its attributes at that point.
We were seated immediately,as we went after the usual lunch crowd by a polite member of staff.
Menus were given and drinks orders taken on the spot.We ordered the nacho starter to share and 2 cheese burgers as mains. The nachos arrived within 5 minutes, and were tasty, with the only downside being that we were not given any small plates therefore ended up making a bit of a mess on the table!
When we were finished the burgers appeared, also tasty and hot. Ok the chips are frozen, but i don't really expect to find freshly cut chips in this sort of establishment. The burgers were cooked nicely, and the buns soft.Condiments are brought to the table in sashes, which might not be everyone's taste but i don't really mind.
The best part for me was that we were left alone to enjoy our lunch, and not rushed out the door as is the norm in other restaurants at lunch time.
The bill was very reasonable as they have a 25% discount on the food.
I would definitely visit again if i was in the area.
