I’ve stayed at the Cameron twice whilst visiting a friend (also called Wendy!) and have had two fantastic experiences! Booking is incredibly easy by e-mail or phone and the B&B is just 10 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh by bus. Wendy and her family are wonderful and friendly and there’s a genuinely warm, homely atmosphere about the place. The rooms are bright and clean (recently decorated) and the beds are particularly comfortable. I stay in a lot of hotels around the country with work, including some extremely well-respected places in London, but none of them compare to the Cameron for a good night’s sleep!! The homemade breakfasts are fantastic (choice of full English or Scottish) and will keep you filled up for the rest of the day. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Edinburgh and cannot recommend it highly enough!!

We stayed for two nights when we went to see the Edinburgh Tattoo. Wendy gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful with tourist tips and travel advice.
The B+B is very clean and comfortable. There are drinks and biscuits in the room, clean towels every day and toiletries also provided. It is easy to find and easy to get to and from town from there.

I have been there for two days beginning of August 2008 with my wife and my daughters (12 and 10). it has been a very good experience. it is a small, nice, friendly and clean B&B. we got a large family room with excellent beds, brand new fornitures, perfectly clean. Wendy has been a great host. she gave us information on how to reach the center (10 minutes by bus) and good advices on the city, and prepared good and abundant scottish breakfasts.

Wendy and family were very welcoming, always ready to advise us on what to see in Edinburgh, even booked tickets for us!
Roms were bright and very comfortable, with everything you needed.
Followed by a great Scottish breakfast, with a varied menu.

Couldn't ask for anythying more. Would recommend a visit.!

The Cameron was our very first stay in Scotland and set the standard for B&B's for the rest of our trip. The rooms were very comfortable and the standard of clean was very high. Wendy,s breakfasts were very tasty and the portions were large.

Overall this was a very pleasant stay and we would stay there on our next trip to Scotland.
