We required 1 night stay in Haymarket area of Edinburgh on Sun 5th October 2008. Booked this online thro their own site@ £32 for room only (double), Room 103. Could order Breakfast for £7.50. Bar & cafe onsite. Staff welcoming, Derek great company as night staff, only been there 1 month. Beautiful building with all cornicing, wood panelling therefore very high ceilings. Big enough room, blackout blinds, good size bath/shower room. All modern. We had a bit of a nosiy problem from room upstairs with we think 2 families with young kids, running & jumping off beds, therefore the chandiler in our room kept make a noise, we had to go down to reception to complain, sorted. Good complimetnary tray i.e. tea, coffe etc. We had a good few drinks back at hotel at night, 1 staff (guyindian/pakistani) said the draught carlsberg was off, he told an untruth as we discovered later when other staff, Derek came through. As bottled beer etc is more expensive, beware. We got to sample the snack food, Tikka Massala lovely. Yes would stay again. Parking a BIG problem.
