My boyfriend and I booked our stay at the Bield B & B through Venere.com . The accommodations were fantastically clean and very comfortable! The room looked brand new and had all the amenities you could possibly need! Ken and Linda were absolutely fabulous. They were so friendly and helpful!! I would most definitely recommend a stay here! Its also at a great location where its possible to walk to the city center.

What a lovely surprise to finally reach our destination after a very long journey from Australia, It was late,wet and we were very weary but Ken settled us in and made us feel very at home. After a great sleep we met Linda, she served a beaut breakfast and gave us local information to get us on our way. Their house is only a fifteen minute walk into town and the local bus is right out the front door. We stayed two nights and we wished we stayed more, the hospitality was terrific, the beds big and comfy and the food was delicious.Thankyou Ken and Linda, we will be sending all our friends to see you in the near future, regards Polly,Graham,Marg and Brian.

The Bield B.& B. provided a perfect place for our four day visit to Edinburgh, Scotland. Our hosts, Linda and Ken Smith, saw to every detail. They took the time to help us orient ourselves to the city, providing an extremely useful map and suggestions of areas of the city to search out reasonable restaurants. Breakfasts were excellent and helped to get us off to a good start each day. This B & B was extremely clean and we had our own bathroom. Security and key access was good, making us feel very comfortable. Our privacy was respected at all times and it became more and more obvious to us as our time there passed that many thoughtful measures had been taken to ensure the privacy and security of each set of visitors. The Bield B. & B. is located just outside the city centre and is right on the city bus line. We used public transit exclusively during our time there. Our experience was excellent and we will return.

My husband and I stayed at Bield B&B on the first 2 nights of our honeymoon in September 2008 before moving on to do a mini tour of Scotland. Bield really set the standard for all other places we stayed in to beat, and I can honestly say none of them did.

Bield provided the best 'customer service' and gave us all the information we needed to make the most of our stay in Edinburgh. They also did the best cooked breakfast we had during our 10 days in Scotland!

I would really recommend this B&B to other people looking to stay in Edinburgh; it was excellent value for money and we would definitely stay here again.
