We have stayed here twice. First in October for our wedding anniversary for two nights and secondly on the 18th Feb 2011.
We loved it in October great place good food, room clean, and comfy bed. We wanted to see friends in area before the dreaded return to work before mat leave ends.
Second time round the room was clean but the bed was awfully hard and uncomfy. Which to be honest isnt a big problem. However, after a bad night we went for our premier breakfast. Nothing premier there, the sausages were inedible and food cold. We complained to duty manager who replaced the plates with " new" food which to be honest was the same as before but colder and sausages a bit less burnt. Spoke to the duty manager again about this she did have customer service skills to resolve our isses.
When checking out we complained to reception about beds and the breakfast. Asked about the Goodnight guarntee. Reception advised us to contact head office and general manager. We have spoke to GM about the goodnight guarntee and staff attitude. Very dismissive and arguementative.
We were disappointed as we did have a good time in October. Will not return to this place or even use premier inn again. There are better alternatives local b and bs.
