We stayed here for a weekend break with two other couples, we were all in agreement that this was an excellent well run hotel. It is a modern,bright,boutique style hotel with old fashioned values, they being customer service and cleanliness.The reception staff were verty pleasent and efficient, the rooms are bright,clean and spacious and in our case had a great view over the quay. the spa is refreshing and the breakfast was excellent.There are a selection of restaurants on the quayside next to the hotel and the city centre is a short walk away, there is also ample free parking. I would recommend this Hotel without any hesitation be it for work rest or play!

Caught the train down from Inverness and decided to break my journey in Dundee to catch up with some friends on my way to Edinburgh. I really could have walked from the station but was feeling lazy so caught a cab.

Check in was quick and friendly. My room gave an excellent view over the water and was very comfortable (if you get a chance ask for a corner room). Was great to have a separate shower and bath and toiletries that were a good size and pleasant to use. I was only staying one night so I took them home – very handy bottles for future trips.

My friends suggested we eat in the restaurant and I was pleased they did - the food was lovely and the service was very good. I ate a three tomato and mozzarella salad to start which was exceptionally flavoursome.

Will definitely stay again and next time I’ll make sure I allow myself time to relax in the spa.

I found this hotel ideal for my stay in Dundee, the facilities were of a very high standard and the rooms very spacious with a fantastic view over the Quay.

I stayed at the Apex overnight for a delegate meeting. On approach it doesn't look much from the outside but what a surprise when i checked in. Rooms were very spacious and clean with everything you need. Bed was enormous and so comfortable.
I was very well looked after. View onto river was very relaxing, restaurant could have been warmer but food was excellent.
Hope to return soon.
