“Bad service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

I was here with my friend a few weeks ago, the food was tasty but was a pity about the service, it put us off completely. The staff were not attentive, we had to get up and search for service for our order to be taken, extra sides, and our bill. The waitress we had didn't have much knowledge about the menu, telling us they didn't have certain sauces even though we realized after it was on the actual menu! We are students and didn't realize until our friends told us after we had already paid, that we could have had buy one get one burger free. We thought out of decency and service that they could have informed us of this giving the menu is quite expensive even for the burger by itself. Having to pay for chips extra is a bit ridiculous.

It was a shame because there is so much potential here, given we really enjoyed the food. A review of staff and prices may not go astray!

“Amazing service at the bar!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014 via mobile

My partner and I came in for a few drinks and food for a chilled Sunday. The food was good, however, I would like to comment on the service from the bartender Sarah as she was very friendly and attentive to our needs. It made us feel very catered for and I thought she was considerate and kind, which is often a rarity in hospitality.

“Great food, terrible service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014

First visited in June of last year and again today... only returned because the food is really good - lovely chicken burgers - good quality and tasty - great selection on menu. Reasonably priced and better so if taking advantage of the 2 for 1 burger deal. Smart set up with dinner booth layout and kid friendly. Service last year was very poor - had to wait, not attentive, staff forgot things and had to ask again, charge full price for burgers and had to get bill re-done to get 2 for 1, again more waiting. Hoped this was just a one-off however today was just as bad - having to ask more than once for something, staff not asking how things were - sounded like a staff meeting was going on in the main area for customers to hear discussions and stories about customers - not at all professional. Really need to up their game and sort out the staff and customer focus as this is really terrible. There is no excuse for this no matter how young the staff are they need to be trained and mentored to know how to deliver at least 'good' service.

It's burgers and chips at their best, plenty choice , relaxed atmosphere and good service.staff were attentive and approachable.

Told staff it was my sons birthday and they surprised us with ice cream and candles, much appreciated guys.

Go and you will enjoy .
