Description: The Glass Pavilion was built in an art-deco style as a bathing shelter in the 1930’s, when Broughty Ferry was a popular holiday destination. The building was disused for a long time, until an imaginative re-invention in the late 1990’s, first as a Garden Centre with coffee shop, and then as a fine dining establishment, and then as the current mainstream restaurant serving traditional British fayre. The building is set in a unique location, where you can enjoy the views across the Tay, watching the dolphins that frequent the estuary, the ships arriving at, and departing from the harbour at Dundee, and the watersports and sailing activities of the local enthusiasts.
