Visit tartan coffee house regularly to meet up with various friends.
Service is first class and all girls very pleasant. Great selection of
Food at any time of the day - very pleasant eating area and
always very busy.

“Dire and disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

We visited here for lunch on the back of positive reviews from others but wish we hadn't bothered. We both plumped for the paninis which others have recommended. Quite simply they were both dreadful, popped on a plate with no side salad, crisps or even a garnish. They were sparsely filled and we had to get something else to eat from elsewhere to actually satisfy our hunger. The food was overpriced, the drinks even more so, a can of juice a princely £1.65. There is a nice wee snug bit in the back but that was closed off with an piece of paper stating that people were still allowed to use the bathroom! The bit we were sat in was tired with lots of cracked floor tiles which needed a good mop, the roof was water stained and we were forced to listened to the two servers love life trials and tribulations as they talked loudly. Upon paying we weren't asked how things were and weren't thanked for coming which is pretty much a common courtesy. There are far better places to go for lunch so if you are thinking of going - don't!!

“Good place for lovely lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Our first day in Scotland after early flight in and we, four friends, were walking around Dundee before our check-in in our hotel. Suffering from sleepless night before, tired from flight and struggling against harsh scottish weather (at least for us it was cold, since the temperature was twice as high in our home country, when we left), we dropped in Tartan coffeehouse to escape rain and cold wind. Had delicious panini and warm tea, relaxed and warmed up. The prices were reasonable. Would recommend to everyone.
