We spotted this tearoom on tripadvisor. It isn't far from town centre but a little tricky to find, however we were told that helpful signs are planned! This old school house also includes a beautiful shop selling local crafts; a hairdresser; a drama studio; a make-up artist etc. The tearoom is an old upstairs classroom with the menu chalked on the old blackboard! We just went for coffee, but everything seemed good value for money. There was the delicious smell of soup, and the cakes looked huge. We did share a tasty slice of lemon and poppy seed loaf, and, alongwith our 2 coffees, it cost about £5. Service was good, and the drinks were mug size. We liked the look of the afternoon tea - about £6. Would certainly return and would recommend a visit to locals and tourists alike.
