“Very friendly and helpful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

Very nice location with great views and use of decked area with direct access from the bedroom. They were very concerned with my elderly parents, especially my father who had difficulties with the stairs. Very helpful with directions for location for dining and how I could my parents drop off at the door. They even booked a table for us.
The breakfast is great and I loved the quiet location. Would definitely stay here again

A wonderful bed and breakfast and wonderful people. They helped us with a ferry reservation that had been cancelled. They did extras for us, too! Very clean and spacious room. And very quiet. Great breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

Everything that you want from a B&B. Great choice of breakfasts, comfy, clean and beautifully furnished rooms, brilliant shower and a large comfy lounge area, sky tv, biking videos...

PLUS:

5mins roll to Glentress trail head
Garage lock up, bike maintenance stand and pressure washer. Alasdair even offered to wash our dirty clothes!

20-25mins walk to pubs in Peebles / short bus ride.

This review is long overdue as it was our Fourth stay at Craiguart. We have stayed with, 2,3,4 and 5 people on different dates Biking at Glentress and Innerleithen each time.

Craiguart is a beutiful house and has everything you could want, Spacious, comfy and clean rooms, Piping showers, a Decked area with BBQ for guests use, a lovely lounge with Flat screen TV with Sky, a secure garage, work stand, Power washer, The world most chilled and friendly Labrador and most important of all an excellent breakfast offering many options including proper nice sausages and bacon, not the usual crap you find in some places!

We bike all over the country and have stayed in at a conservative estimate 50 B and B's all over scotland, wales and England. Craiguart is by a long Margin our Favorite and we will continue to stay here on every Glentress/Innerleithen trip we make in the future.

Highly Highly recommended.

Room Tip: There is one triple room which is very spacious and swallows up 3 people plus riding gear.

Modern, beautifully furnished B&B with fantastic views.
Alasdair and Pauline are delightful hosts and can provide you with a wealth of information about the area.
The breakfast choice was fantastic - we were kept full the whole day.

Myself and a friend stayed here during a mountain bike trip to Glentress. The room was clean and well fitted. A powerful shower was appreciated. The breakfast was wonderful. There is secure bike storage so you can sleep easy. Next time we are riding Glentress we will stay here again.

We have never stayed in a more friendlier bed and breakfast than this, given lots of information on what to do and where to go. Warm and beautiful rooms with fabulous power showers and stunning views. We were also allowed to bring back a takeaway and eat in the dining room after a very long day walking with no energy to go out. Will be going back !!
