My wife and I have friends in Hawick and stay probably once a year. We've tried another couple of establishments in preceeding years but this one was a real find.First of all you have a bedroom and a separate bath and shower area and then a separate wardrobe in suite 2.In addition to that you have a lounge area with a wood burning stove should you require it to heat the room but it was not necessary when we stayed.Maggie is a wonderful host and makes you feel at ease.As well as the great accommodation (for only a bed and breakfast rate) she provided us with tea on arrival at no extra charge and cooked the breakfast to perfection the next day.It is situated off the main road but well signposted with a brown tourist board sign.Because it is situated off the road it is fairly quiet and tranquil and would recommend it for a get away from it all break.
