Very spacious and clean room. Great breakfast. When we return to Scotland we will definitely try to make it back to Oban and stay at the Old Manse.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home by Simon,Anna & Ruby, and throughout our stay they were always available to give us advise on walks/visits Etc. Accommodation and food were all excellent.
We are sure we will return at a later date and would advise anyone looking for a holiday in Oban not to have any second thoughts about booking here
The Old Manse is situated approx mid point and I suspect a 10min walk in either direction will take you to either end of the town

We stayed at The Old Manse for two nights last September with our young son (2 years old). We had a fantastic room, breakfast was great and Anna and Simon were lovely hosts.

We used Oban as a base to go and visit Tobermory on Mull(Balamory to everyone with children), the ferry terminal was within easy walking distance.

Hector especially enjoyed the loan of the Balamory books at The Old Manse and his letter from Miss Hooley.

This was one of the best B & Bs we stayed at during our tour of Scotland - A belated Thank-you!

Sorry for the delay in writing, hard to believe that it has been 6 months since our trip to Scotland. Jean Claude and I want to thank you for making our delayed honeymoon worth the wait. Our 3 weeks in Scotland took us many places but none compared to the warmth that we felt in your home. We often talk about your kindness and attention to detail, from the moment we arrived to our sad good-bye as we ventured further north.

We tell all who will still listen that if they venture to Scotland, Oban and the Old Manse Guest House is the best place to be. We stayed 4 nights and your attention to detail was fantastic from the greeting to the breakfast tray in our room (we were leaving to catch the early ferry the next day) to a hot cup of tea and cookies in the late afternoon. And least I forget they even had DVD's of my favorite show Most Haunted, which I can never get enough of. And we can’t forget Pickles who also made us feel at home. This was our first long trip away from our dog and we missed him terrible and Pickles was a great comfort to us.

From the chocolates and sherry in your room, to the wonderful treatment and comfortable bed, to the enchanting stories of a truly wonderful Victorian home we would not hesitate in returning. We look forward to seeing you soon for an even longer stay.
