Very comfy very friendly house with the most wonderful breakfast and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again. Location was fabulous and the house felt like home except that we had a 4-poster bed so very grand!

We (a family of 4) stopped over for 2 nights on our way to Mull and found this great place just a few miles outside of Inverary. Two cosy, comfortable rooms with everything you need in the attic where we had our own 'family area'. Fiona's breakfast was probably the best we ever had in a B&B. The kids enjoyed the hugh space outside, playing with the 2 lovely dogs who even joined us for our walk through the woods that start right behind the house. A place to feel at home. We just can recommend it.

We stayed here last 23 august. Location 5/10 min by car from the village. Peaceful, hospitable. Room very "scottish", large, good bed, clean (that's important !); tv/dvd/wi-fi; only the bath is a little small. Great and superb breakfast (you can choice different solutions all self-made by Fiona, the owner, which is very careful). We can say that we were very very satisfied and we were as a king and a queen !!

I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay here with us, it was a real pleasure to meet you both. I really appreciate the time you have taken to write a review for us. We are not sure what the space was that we converted into the shower/toilet room...maybe a dressing area as was the tradition in days gone by...it was a curious little corridor along that side of the room which had two big door frames leading to it. Perfect for an en suite but as you say...not the largest one in the world!

We spent four days here before heading off to Mull. The cottage is well situated in beautiful woodland not far from Inveraray, and we had a lovely room with a four poster bed (and very comfy too!). Fiona is a great hostess and cooks a fab breakfast. The two dogs were good fun - barking mad but very well behaved. We would definitely stay here again.

My favourite B&B in Scotland. Fiona, Garret and family are excellent hosts. The location is fantastic on the edge of a forest, close to a loch and near Inverary. The breakfast is fantastic, worth a trip for on its own! The rooms are very comfortable and clean.

We stayed in July at Claonairigh House and enjoyed it very much. We loved our room which had a four poster bed and a little fridge. We felt really at home as Fiona is a great host and her breakfast is marvellous. We will come again.

We turned up at Claonairigh House on spec and were not disappointed. We were welcomed by a couple from Sweden who said that the owner was out shopping, but they thought there was a double room available, so invited us in to wait for Fiona's return. While we were waiting, they told us how comfortable they were in the house and what a good hostess Fiona was, so we were delighted when she returned and was able to offer us a double room en suite. We had a very comfortable two nights, with really good breakfasts to start each day. The whole atmosphere was friendly and it felt like being at home. There were two delightful sheep dogs who attached themselves to for our evening walks - a great pleasure, and I think the dogs enjoyed it also! I thoroughly recommend Claonairigh House and would like to thank Fiona for looking after us so well and for making us feel so welcome.
