“Friendly Welcome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We stayed at No 15 B&B just for one night. The house was not so easy to find, but after asking a pedestrian we found a sign a few yards after Furnace. Seonaid, who runs the B&B, was very friendly and made us a tasty full scottish breakfast in the morning. The view from our room was great.

We had a great stay here, the bedroom looks out on to the loch shore. Breakfast times were relaxed and arranged around us. Garden decking took you out on to loch shore. Quiet and peaceful. Owner couldn't be nicer. Comfy bed. Would def stay here again :)

Stayed at this b+b for a week while working in furnace! The host "seonaich" i think (i ended up calling her janet as seonaich is the gaelic word for janet), was very friendly and helpfull! great food, especialy breakfast, great views from back decking area! We ended up sitting out back a couple of nights and janet put on the little pot belly wood burner so we could have a little fire! lol! rooms are clean tidy and very comfortable! Great wi-fi connection, All in all a great little budget b+b! As someone said before, "a very home from home place" and would definetley stay again! thank you janet!

Room Tip: room on the left is a nice big airy room with big velux window overlooking the loch

We stayed in a very original and welcoming B & B on our way from the Highlands to Glasgow and were warmly welcomed by Seonaid who had cooked a tasty meal for us. Rooms with wonderful view and beds and sharing the bathroom was no problem.
My only comments would be to Seonaid's neighbour whose 'bohemian' garden was no advertisement for the cosy hospitality we found next door! I do not think however that he is a reader of Trip Advisor!

Room Tip: Both are rooms with a view but one has an added settee. There is also use of the living room.

We were in Scotland for a wedding and decided to do a bit of exploring of the local area. We came across this B&B on tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The owner is very friendly, helpful and makes you feel really at home. She has two gorgeous dogs and her garden is a great spot to have breakfast or lie on the hammock gazing at the beautiful view of Loch Fyne. This isn't a luxury B&B, your bathroom is separate from your room, yet it doesn't matter. It's a real home away from home and we'd definitely go back if we are ever in the area again.

Room Tip: Room on the left hand side has a sofa but both rooms looked equally as nice.

Tucked away in the loch side village of Furnace is this GEM of a BnB, the hostess enveloped me in warm Scottish welcome and i felt right at home straight away. Perfectly priced for those on a budget, but big on comfort and quality, comfy bed and a delicious Scottish breakfast, not to mention the stunning views that i had from my room.

We felt very smug having found this gem of a B&B right on Loch Fyne. The garden goes down to the shore of the Loch. We stayed here when the weather was stunning and it was so amazing. The room, the food, and especially the hospitality was superb. Seonaid went out of her way to make us feel at home. We used the washing machine, were given a lunch and were treated to some brilliant inside information on the local area. Truly deserving of a five star rating.
