Where do I start? We arrived and the girl at reception couldn't check us in because she couldn't find the key to our room. When we did get there there was peeling paint in the shower area, an old computer left lying in the corner, radiator having off the wall, cold shower and generally disgusting levels of cleanliness!
The best of it all we were in the honeymoon suite at £75 a night! The problem with Campbeltown is you have only here and The Argyll Hotel which is equally as bad.
The locals say this hotel used to be good but has been so run down since Swallow took over. In fact the manager was in the pub nearby (Alison) and told us the place was a nightmare. What chance have you got!
Do not stay here!
