“Great food and really friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

We stumbled upon this quirky wee tearoom / restaurant. It's definitely the heart of the community and a warm welcome from Frances and Ian. I told Frances I was trying to trace ancestors / family and she handed me a great wee book. The soup, toasties and meringues were scrumptious. A great experience. Good stuff the shop and Ian was also really knowledgeable. I loved this place.

“Must Try The Meringues”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

We bumped in to a couple on a blustery beach whilst letting our dogs have a run. They recommended Muneroys and they were just on their way up there. We called in on the way back to Tarbert. A very warm welcome from Frances and some lovely soup BUT then Toffee meringues with Tarbert ice cream and toffee sauce (again as recommended by the couple) were simply amazing. I am fairly sure that I would make the 7+ hour trip from Yorkshire for these alone!

“Brilliant cakes.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

Visited this cafe twice during our week in Campbeltown. Soup, sandwich and cakes the first time. Cakes are to die for. Had burger and chips second time. Unfortunately we didn't have room for cake. Food good, and wide choice on menu. Would hate to have to do the dusting though ;)

“Homebaking...wow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

We had a lovely afternoon tea at this quirky little tearoom. The homebaking was the best i've ever tasted. Definitely worth a visit.

“Lovely home-cooked food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

We have eaten here before, and once again we were not disappointed. Lovely home-cooked food and a really friendly service. Located in the village of Southend, with the Mull of Kintyre just a few miles away, this is a great place to eat.
