My wife and I recently stayed here on our holiday in Scotland, and this Hotel never disappoints. We have been here before, but we always hope that it will be as good as we remembered.

Well, it most definitely is! Lovely room, and the best food that we have ever had anywhere, all in a glorious location close to the shores of Loch Linnhe.

If you want to relax in comfort, with superb food and with great surroundings, then this Hotel beats the lot. The service is top notch and absolutely outstanding, with a mixture of efficiency and style, but in a very low key manner. The food is the best that we've ever eaten, and the chef (J. Paul Burns) produces meals that are outstanding.

This Hotel is simply superb and we would recommend it to anyone. It's pricey, but it's brilliant.

Amazing views at breakfast looking out over Loch Linhe, fabulous rooms, superb attention to detail and perfect quality food. This hotel will spoil you so that you will always compare when you stay elsewhere - and wish you hadn't!

We have just come back from a couple of nights at the Airds Hotel. We chose it simply because of the reviews we read online. Neither my husband nor I have ever stayed in any hotel, either through business or pleasure, which has offered the excellent service and attention to detail that we experienced at the Airds Hotel. The moment we arrived the manager welcomed us personally at reception, and from thereon the service was attentive, understated and impeccable. Each and every member of staff that we encountered was efficient, polite and attentive, without being overbearing or over familiar. The scenery is stunning, the hotel is tastefully decorated whilst also cosy and inviting and the food was simply outstanding. We could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Our only concern is that we will forever be comparing future service in hotels to the experience we had at the Airds Hotel.

We made a quick switch to the Airds after reading some alarming reviews (on Trip Advisor) of another hotel in the area where we had previously booked. We were not disappointed. The Airds Hotel is welcoming without being effusive, and attentive without being obtrusive. We liked the casual comfort of the lounges and the way the staff orchestrates the service in the dining room so that everyone at a table is served at the same time. The row of green wellies in the hall (for visitors) testifies to the outdoor nature of a stay there. There are great walks from the hotel, and we also recommend taking the little passenger ferry to Lismore Island and walking there. We'd stay there again, although we think it expensive.
