The clock in the lounge was 5 minutes fast. Try as I did that is the only thing I could find wrong.
We booked at the last minute and only the Junior Suite was available. This was expensive but since it was an anniversary treat we decided to take it. We were not disappointed.
Whilst we would have preferred a loch view this room only had a small patio area (descibed as a sun-trap, but this is Scotland)
The accomodation was first class and the service polite but amiable. I can't remember food as good as we had and must pay a tribute to the chef for some excellent meals. One course that received rave reviews from all the guests was the Penod and Fennel sorbet.
It is one hotel where you can look forward to some wet Scottish afternoons by the fire contemplating the dinner to come.
