We stayed here for a mid week break in April 2012 in one of the higher lodges. The weather was great when we arrived and the view from the lodges was amazing. Our lodge was lovely with brown leather sofas and a new style kitchen. The heating was on for our arrival and it was lovely and cozy. We didn't meet Julie but saw Jim a few times and he was very friendly, always stopping for a chat and always working hard. The gardens were very well kept and my 7 year old daugher loved the tree swings.
Just down the road, a few minutes walk, is a lovely pub which we visited every evening for dinner.
There is lots to do in the area - there is a fantastic cycle track and bike hire, pony trekking (which was great, right along the shore), Sea Life Centre, villages to explore, craft shops, great walks and Oban and Glen Coe only a short drive away too.
We have visited Disney and been to many amusement parks with my daughter but she said that she had great fun here with the grounds to explore and the swings and would love to go back again soon.
