What can I say that no one has already said? It has the wow factor from the minute you pass the gate house. We stayed in the tower suite and even though it was on separate levels I loved it .
It has been very well thought out and even though I personally didn't like the black decor every room gave the wow factor. We dined in the wine cellar as we wanted a romantic dinner , it was fab and we would Definately do it again. I just wish my daughters could have shared it with me but maybe the next time.
Morag made us feel very welcome , and all the staff were attentive.
Food was first class and my partner raved about the soup for ages :-) well done to all the staff for making our stay a very enjoyable and pleasant one.
If you want somewhere truly amazing and special go here, highly recommended .

Room Tip: I only seen the tower suite but would imagine that they are all great . Steps might be a problem for...

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights at Kinnettles and loved every minute of it!! Jacqueline and her team were friendly, helpful and professional whilst our room and the castle facilities were just superb!! 5 stars to the chef too - the food was of a very high standard! We would highly recommend Kinnettles for couples looking for a romantic break!

My girlfriend and I recently stayed here for a romantic weekend, and all I can say is "wow". On arrival at the castle we were met by very friendly staff, who quickly had us checked in and showed us to our room. The room was very comfortable although to get to bathroom we had to go out of room as it was not joined on to room due to layout of castle, ( not all rooms are like this).
The bed was one of the comfiest we've sleeped in at a hotel.

We had breakfast both days and were very impressed with what was on offer, service was very quick.

The evening meal was amazing, only slight complaint is that in dining room is one large table, so other couples were next to us, not ideal if you wanted a romantic meal, however it did add to the feel that we were staying in a castle.

Will definitely be coming back here soon.

A stunning 5 star boutique hotel set in large grounds making it beautiful, secluded and peaceful. You arrive along a tree-lined driveway and to see the hotel come in to view is simply amazing. It snowed really heavily as we arrived and continued all night. We would have been more than delighted to be snowed in but 5 star efficiency meant the drive was cleared and we could leave after breakfast! Kinnettles is exactly as it looks on the website but it was even more fairytale looking covered in snow. The staff are welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The rooms are stunning and so comfortable. We had drinks in the lounge when we arrived and felt relaxed and comfortable within minutes of arriving. The food in the hotel is spectacular. We had both dinner and breakfast and everything was really delicious. The dining room has a long banquet table and we were sat side by side at it making it an intimate way to dine. Everything about the hotel and our stay made this a beautiful, romantic, perfect stay. Highly recommended.

Just back from a fantastic overnight deal at the castle. Room was fantastic with private bathroom and sitting room. Best bed I have slept in yet...excellent nights sleep. Fantastic setting and absolutely stunning inside. Great facilities with a super games room. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Bar areas are really warm and welcome and prices are not to expensive for the quality of accommodation. Staff could not be any more friendly and very helpful...made to feel very welcome. Can't wait to return.

Booked this hotel for a work trip to Aberdeen. What can I say, absolutely first class and would recommend to anyone who wants the ultimate hotel. Only a handful of rooms in the hotel, I was allocated room number 5 - huge with an ante-room plus his and hers showers! Impeccably clean and nothing less than quality fixtures and fittings. The food was sublime; nothing less than Michelin star fare (both dinner and breakfast). The hosts were excellent; nothing too much trouble. I'll be back again and can't stop telling others that if you have to stay in Scotland, make a point of going across to Forfar and stay here!
