I've visited this hotel for bar lunches, as part of a group, on several occasions over the past year. It would be easy to drive past without noticing this venue but it is definitely worth looking out for. The bar meal menu is imaginative and offers a wide variety of food. All selections are presented in an interesting, and visually-impressive, manner. Perhaps not what one might expect from a somewhat bland and rough-and-ready north-east Scotland fishing port. Apologies if that sounds snobbish, but Peterhead is not exactly the Scottish riviera.
The standard of food, first-rate, has never altered over the course of my visits. And the prices are surprisingly low, to my mind.
