We only visited this place following a bit of local insider information, its not well advertised or sign posted but its reputation goes before it! This cafe is a true Hippie destination. Leave behind all your preconceived ideas of how a cafe should be, and you will LOVE this place! All the food is vegetarian and ethically sourced, its tasty and interesting, probably stuff that you would not have cooked yourself. The usual suspects like apple pie come with a completely different edge to it, interesting and yummy but not at all the norm. The atmosphere is laid back and completely random and bonkers! The first time we arrived there was a gentlemen playing the 'The Last Post' on a horn and was being recorded by the owner of the cafe, everything stopped whilst this was undertaken, it was incredibly moving and completely random lol! The second time we went the place was full and some of the well known diners were roped in to help with the washing up. Basically, anything goes! The food will arrive in its own good time. DONT go if you are in a rush, but dont worry because there are so many weird and wonderful decorations and nifty ideas dotted around that you will not be short of anything to look at or talk about. The view from the windows is beautiful. The place and the food is amazing. A DEFINATE must do, if nothing else you should do it just for the experience. I have rated the service as 5 star, anywhere else it would have been rated as a 3 star, however you dine here in a completely different way and the laid back, friendly, interesting, slightly hit and miss service is 100% part the charm of this place and can only be rated to the maximum. Visit and see what I mean.
