“Always excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

Been coming here for years and it's always fantastic. Carmine produces cheap, honest wholesome food - his pizzas are great but his pasta is even better. Really small place so a reservation is recommended. Carmine is always entertaining! You really can't go wrong. This is the ideal place for a pre-theatre dinner, quick lunch or just catching up with friends. Bring your own wine and enjoy!

“Carmine's, Aberdeen”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Carmine's is right in the centre of Aberdeen. Good honest food at good honest prices. Carmine himself is an institution in Aberdeen, sometimes grumpy, sometimes charming, always entertaining and consistently produces good food. Lunch is priced for a quick turnaround so linger at your peril.

“Visit with our Grandson”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

Our 6 year old Grandson was as impressed as we always are & congratulated Carmine on the Best Pizza ever & for that we were given it on the house, what other restaurant does that ???. Restaurant was full & very busy yet Carmine & Liz always have time for their diners new or returners. Jaejay said to Carmine as we left " I will be back" !!!

“Tiny, traditional Italian feel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

I have been coming here for several years and love it. I have read bad reviews and whilst I understand, they miss the point. I love the atmosphere, the tiny village cafe feel and not knowing whether the chef will be singing away to Pavarotti arias or be grumpy to the customers. If you want poncey Britalian rubbish at expensive process, go to Jamies Italian or Pizza Express but don't expect it here. This is simple, cheap (£4.50 for 3 courses for midweek lunch!), real Italian food and long may it stay that way!
