There are a lot of Italian restaurants in Aberdeen. Having not been opened long, we visited on Christmas Eve, a busy time and we had booked online. The waiter was Italian and very friendly. We had a table downstairs just beside the servery. This was lovely as we got to view all the fine food as it went past. The restaurant was warm with a great atmosphere.
We each had a lovely starter. There are also many lovely fish dishes on the menu too as well as the expected pasta and pizza. The wine list is quite extensive too. I can't remember which white wine I had, I think it may have been one of the house wines but it was very good. Himself started with a mixed plate of breads with different toppings. I had a lovely fish dish, followed by pasta. We even took the bairns pizza home with us.
I would say the restaurant has a very modern contemporary feel. There is an accessible bathroom. There are a couple of comfy sofas too which would be great if you wanted to sit with drinks and taster starters.
Considering they had just opened, we think the service was very good. I feel that it was very good value despite the many Italian restaurants in Aberdeen. There was even a table of Italians dining beside us. Cant wait to go again and I really hope they keep going. My only suggestion would be, if it could be a little more festive next Christmas. Valentines soon.
