The hotel is very conveniently located within 5 minutes walking distance of Union Street, the centre of town.
The rooms are of usual premier inn standard, the beds are comfy, the room spacious and clean. The rooms on the road side of the building can become a little noisy at times, but it's not too intusive. However, during the summer months the rooms can become very hot, and there is no air conditioning. This is something that needs to be addressed by the hotel as it is very uncomfortable during the summer months.
The restaurant at the hotel is good, the food is a reasonable standard and good value for money. Breakfast is either a continental or cooked buffet, but some items are cooked to order.
One of the main draw backs to the hotel is the parking. The hotel is quite large and there isn't enough parking for all the rooms. Additional parking is available near by, but during the day you have to pay. There isn't really much the hotel can do about this though.
Would I stay here again? Yes, if you want to be close to town and not pay a fortune this hotel is a good choice.
