My wife and I stayed here for one night (Friday evening) as it was cheaper and more convenient than getting a taxi back home. The prices for Travelodge are pretty good when you book in advance and we got an overnight stay (without breakfast) for £31 - pretty good for Aberdeen. Location is perfect for the town and as we were going on a night out with friend, it's handy for all the centre bars and restaurants.
The room was good - small but clean and again fine for an overnight stay. The hotel has recently been refurbished, so is well presented. Surprisingly there were no toiletries in the bathroom (just a small bar of soap) and there's no free wifi - easy things for Travelodge to sort out, and I'm sure they will.
We didn't stay for breakfast, but the dining area and bar looked fine. Entrance to the hotel is quite narrow given it's location, and if you're not familiar with it's location you may not see it first time.
There's no dedicated hotel parking, but there is plenty near by. You should factor this into your stay as Aberdeen parking isn't that cheap.
So in summary, a good hotel for a simple stay. It's well priced, clean and central.
