Aberdeen hotels are always pricey so for 120 a night I had low hopes. However, the staff were great and juggled room allocations so i had an extremely early checkin and waited only 20minutes. the room was right above the bar ( it might have been elsewhere if I had checked in at a normal time), but it did not create a problem (maybe at a weekend it would be). The room was a good size to contain loads of luggage. Hotel wins no prizes for decor as it is well and truly stuck in the 1980s. Apart from room size, the best thing was free wi-fi broadband throughout the hotel, After a rip-off stay days before in the Hilton Belfast where everything was extra, this was a real joy. I will definitely stay here again. Can't comment on restaurant as I only had breakfast.

This is a local private hotel with a great bar and restaurant. (Sea food and steaks speciality)
I can't comment on the hotel rooms as I have never stayed at the hotel.
I have however eaten in both the Atlantis restaurant and the Cape Horn bar.
We went to the Atlantis restaurant for a celebratory meal and the food (we had lobsters and steak) was fantastic. The wine list was very good as well. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the wine.
We have also eaten in the bar section of the hotel. The mussels were fantastic! The food was a reasonable price in the bar with specials of the day.
The bar is a nice relaxed, quiet place to be after having a meal or even just to go in for a few beers.
A good place with a wide selection of menus to suit most pockets.
Only negative thing is that the decor is a wee bit dated, but I'm not eating the curtains!
