This is a newish purpose built B & B in the countryside a few miles outside Omagh. Using a sat-nav it is easy enough to find. There is plenty of on-site parking for visitors.
On arrival you get a warm welcome and shown the facilities on offer. My room was upstairs and was very spacious and beautifully decorated with colour coordinated bedding, furniture and floor covering. Plenty of tea and coffee making items were in the room.
My room had twin beds and although they are not my bag the one I used gave me a comfortable sleep. On awaking I looked out of the window into an adjacent filed to see a bullock and a few cows ruminating. That is what I call staying in the countryside.
The shower room was a good size and good quality equipment used to furnish it. Even the shower was a mains water type that looked smart and worked well. The communal area has a small pool table at one end and a long bench with tables and chairs plus a large screen TV on the wall.
If you want to go out to eat etc it either means a taxi or driving. I found a really good restaurant bar called ‘The Crown’ roughly 3 miles away close to the centre of Omagh. It is 500M down the road from Asda.
Breakfast was an experience. All the usual starter items then a large cooked genuine Irish breakfast perfectly cooked to your liking.
The hosts are a very pleasant couple who took the time to make you welcome and were only too happy to chat about life and travels.
One minor criticism is the sound insulation of the rooms maybe could be improved a little.
In summary, the Laurels is an inexpensive but upmarket B & B, well cared for and very pleasant hosts. For anyone visiting the Omagh area and looking for quality accommodation then the Laurels should be the top of the list of places to stay.

Room Tip: You can't go wrong with any room. the whole place oozes class

This B&B is fantastic! The whole place oozes quality - the single room I stayed in was absolutely first-rate with very nice furnishings and a lovely bathroom. The location is idyllic with walks possible right from the front door but still close enough to Omagh to be handy in the morning. Best of all though, the owners are extremely friendly and the breakfast is to die for! Thoroughly recommend it - I hope to go back!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this b&b whilst over in Ireland for a friends wedding! The b&b itself is lovely and very clean! The beds are comfortable and have an en suite bathroom. The b&b is a quick taxi ride away from the town centre.

We didn't use the hot tub while we were there due to the fact we were going to a wedding but this was an added bonus!

The breakfasts are amazing but most importantly, the owners are lovely. Really friendly and helpful. Very welcoming and a b&b I would visit again if I returned to the area and would highly recommend if asked.

This was the fifth B&B during our week in N. Ireland, and it was a nice welcome at the end of a very busy day of touring. It is a recently new B&B located not far from town. We had a room on the first floor which was lovely, complete with a beautiful bath and WiFi. Breakfast the next morning was one of the best. Joyce & Bill are excellent hosts and we enjoyed visiting with them and two other couples who were staying there as well. We loved our stay at The Laurels and highly recommend this B&B!

After my fifth stay with Billy and Joyce at the laurels I can safely say that this little hamlet is THE best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. Perfect location if like me you are travelling around Ireland on business, On 3 occasions I have even travelled from Dublin to Omagh just to stay at the laurels. The fixtures and furnishings are of a far higher standard than most exclusive hotels I have stayed in. The price is pratically unbelievable For the amount of quality you receive here from the lovely welcome from the hosts to the perfect breakfast the following day you WILL not find better.
