If your looking for that good feeling family night or day out give "The Bowling Alley" a visit..Its just down to earth food, great service and fairly good value for money.Only one thing to mention..be prepared too have a few pound in your pocket to go the full hog when visiting..can be pretty costly if you take "The Waines" with you..;)

“Excellent value kids club”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

Went to the cinema on a Saturday morning only to find out it was kids club. Had a choice of 3 films for the kids, not the newest but still hadn't seen 2 of them. All tickets including adults were £1.50, bargain. It cost us £22 instead of the normal£48, and that included popcorn and juice for all. The staff are very friendly and helpful, excellent toilet facilities and the kids even got balloons when we left. A great way to spend Saturday mornings, will def return.

“Something for everyone of all ages”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

I absolutely love the cinebowl. They do an offer of a movie and meal deal for £18 quid which is fantastic. The only thing is the food is average and the variety on the menu (which is different to the everyday menu) is very limited i.e. about 8 meals to choose from, although a starter is included in the price. The quality of the food could be a lot better but the atmosphere is great plus they do a great selection of cocktails. If you fancy something a bit more casual there is a fastfood joint next door and you are allowed to take your food and drink down to the table where you are bowling. There are also a lot of arcade games which are great fun but you are best to budget your cash as you could easily spend a fortune. Overall its a great place for either a family treat or an evening out with friends.

“Startling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

The Superbowl comprises a bowling alley, bar, restaurant, diner, video games arcade and cinema. I am only able to comment on the cinema and the restaurant, although visitors should be aware that this combination presents a very nosy chaotic image on first encounter. One really does feel one is running a gauntlet of teenagers and young adults out for a riotous night. Those that persevere, however, will find a cinema that is brand new, extremely comfortable, well managed, with an up to date film listing. The seating is virtually armchair standard.
The restaurant is very busy and very efficient. There are basically two menus - a la carte and a shorterned two course version available as part of a deal which includes either a game of bowls or a cinema ticket. This is available at £17.95 or so, and is a very good deal. The steak with a surcharge of £2 is excellent value and very good indeed. If you don't want ot eat and arrive on a Tuesday, admission to the cinema is just £3.50. I think it's a winner (if you can get over the initial shock).

“Something for everyone”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

Seems to be a bit of something for everyone here. One drawback is that it can get quite busy during peak times so waiting for pool / restaurant/ bowls can take over an hour. But, this is what you expect from such a place and it should discourage you from having a great with the plenty of amusements that are there.
