If you are visiting N Ireland, the Cathedral Church of St Columb is a must on your itinerary. You will receive a very warm welcome, information on the historical importance of this church is presented in an easily digestable way. Unfortunately, having spent a considerable amount of money renovating the church, to good effect, a fungus was discovered in the floor and walls of the Chapter House which housed numerous important artifacts. This did not deter the guides who remained cheerful and helpful, displaying a determination to ensure a memorable visit. Remembering that this is also a place of worship, the service on Sunday morning was moving for many reasons not least the quality of the music. Very well worth a visit.
