“Beautiful and full of history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

Definitely something you should see when in Derry, beautiful interior and steeped in history. Make sure to see the silver and the padlocks of the original gates.

“Grand cathedral.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

When you visit Derry it is a must that you see inside St. Columbs' cathedral within the famous Derry walls, it was the first cathedral to be built in the British isles after the reformation. Constructed between 1628/1633 it is a lovely building, inside and out. In the surrounding grounds there is a monument called the hereos mound where some of those who died during the Siege of Derry 1688/89 are said to be buried.

Best piece of architecture in Derry. Easy to access location and still a working church so can go along to services if that's your thing
