“Beautiful....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2015 NEW

Silent Valley is one of my favourite places to visit. The scenery is beautiful with several way marked trails to suit most people. In the high season a bus is available to make the journey up to the dam for those that don't fancy walking. There is a cafe, but take a picnic, find a seat and enjoy the peace and the beautiful scenery!!

“Stunning views and walks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2015

We visited here on Easter Monday when the weather was glorious and everyone was out and about enjoying these spectacular grounds and facilities. Come here and enjoy the scenery - the walks are fabulous, and you can reward yourself with a treat in the lovely tea rooms on site.

“Sunny day escape”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2015

Hard not to like here when the sun was shining. But had a great day taking a stroll to the reservoirs and taking in all the hiking trails. Well worth the £4.50 car parking charge. Defiantly a great place for all ages and abilities.

“Mega setting and great walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2015

This is a wonderful place in a wonderful setting - really worth visiting. During peak season there is a bus to shuttle you to the dam if you cannot or don't fancy the walk. The view from the top of the dam is breathtaking and when you consider the manual labour involved in constructing this it does leave you with a sense of awe.
