Went to the new venture at James Street South last night - steak bar. It does plenty of things as well as steak. Just what you would expect from a kitchen of this class - good quality ingredients well cooked. Not cheap but quality is expensive and this was around £35 a head for three courses without wine. I would have paid more and have frequently had to pay a lot more for less. The best steak and chips in Belfast right now. I had crab on toast to start and it was a great taste as well as artfully presented. Service was attentive without being instrusive.
