We go for walks here all the time. I've been bringing my kids here for 40 years. I especially like the Japanese Garden which is very beautiful and peaceful, but also the great sprawling grassy areas and of couse the Rose Gardens. A lovely oasis on the edge of Belfast.
The park is a great place for getting away from the City and stretching those legs on a good long walk. Beautiful surroundings to amble and spend a few hours in the fresh air. Also great to take the kids as an adventure playground on location and also a nice coffee shop. Good parking and the park is not that far outside the city. A great choice for a peaceful days walking and relaxing.
Go here every now and then to walk my dog, very nice walk and peaceful. Easy parking as well, especially nice in the summer months!!!
Lovely place for a nice walk at any time of year. Plenty of trees and nice views. Interesting sculptures. Good parking.
This place is so well maintained and a visit during International Rose Week is well worth the effort. or at least in the weeks leading up to it.
