“Wonderful Hotel. Great Location. Staff really helpful for early check in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2010

We stayed here as part of a wedding deal in September and I was really impressed from the start. We were landing on the Saturday on a really early flight so were looking for an early check in to our room at 8.30am. the staff were so helpful on the phone and seemed to be sincere when they said they hoped to have us a room for when we arrived. Fabulously they did and I don't know many hotels where you could get that early a check in. The room was a little dark (the only fault) but the location was great, the breakfast was utterly delicious and the bar was a nice place to be.

Stayed on Saturday night as we were up to see David Coulthard and the red bull car.
Service was very good.
Room was perfect. We were on the third floor- room 304. I had a corner window, no view to the front but that did not matter.
Bed very comfortable and also had a fan if needed.
Breakfast was excellent and a great choice.
Will love to go back .

After a real mess up on our upgrade to a suite and champagne/chocolate strawberries etc. for my wife's birthday, the Hotel pulled out all the stops to provide a wonderful two day stay in Belfast
The staff were wonderful, the accommodation fantastic and the food superb

Highly recommended

A group of friends booked in for a saturday night stay. The cocktail bar is veery cool, with a great array of cocktails. The rooms are very modern & chic. The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard and very art nouveau n style & presentation.

2 slight negative comments, the interiors are very dark with an over reliance on blacks & charcoals, can have a heavy oppressive feel. the seats in the dining room are broken up with heavy seat dividers which can break up your party.

Having saisd that I would definitley stay there again.

Arrived at hotel early and luckily enough they had a room ready. Got to room and tv wasnt working, called reception and they said they would send someone to fix it. With no tv we left hotel to explore the area. Arrived back a few hours later, tv was fixed. Got a letter under our door to say we had been smoking in the room and we were going to be charged 100 pound for it! None of us smoked and we had not been in the room long enough to anyway. After speaking to the manager who was very ignorant she took the charge off our room. Other guests in the hotel had had the same problem. After a bad start to the trip, everything else was good. The hotel is a great location to the victorica square shopping centre (across from hotel)and the main shopping area. Staff in hotel were nice except for management who didnt act like management towards us! Rooms was really nice and bed was soo comfy. Would stay here again just for the location alone,

A great choice of hotel for a city break in Belfast.

The hotel is located in the centre of town - a minutes walk from the shopping mecca of Victoria Square. The decor is chic and the room we stayed in was very nice. We ate at the restaurant one night - the menu wasn't extensive but the food was good. The breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel. The service was excellent and friendly.

The one bad point is that there is no parking. There is parking at St Annes square multistorey (5 mins walk) for £6/day.

I will be looking to stay at this hotel for any future visits to Belfast. A very enjoyable stay.

Stayed for one night in Malmaison Belfast with proegnant wife.
Very stylish hotel and bar, great decor and rooms were just fine: luxuriously decorated and everything you need.
Staff were great and food was pretty good (although I did have to send somehting back as it was not hot enough - the staff took care of it very well).
All in a great stay.
