“Radisson Blu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

My friend and I stayed one night here on our tour of Ireland. The hotel is well situated in Belfast, the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are modern, clean and comfy. We did have an issue in our bathroom. The shower was stuck on HOT and we could not get it to work right. We called the desk and they sent a man to take a look and try to fix it but he could not. Their answer to our dilema was to clean the bathroom across the hall (the people had just left) and let us use it. This allowed me to shower that morning and I was happy with that, but nothing else was said about it by the staff. No offer of a discount and or free night. Just a quick apology and that was that. Maybe offers of discounts and or a free night are not normal ways of doing business in Northern Ireland? It would have been nice to be offered something considering how much we paid to stay there.

Overall, the hotel is very nice. The shower not working was a fluke and I don't hold it against the hotel.

I stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel Belfast for one night with my mother as part of a group tour. The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre. Rooms are big and new, well-furnished and well-kept. Breakfast is very good and there is plenty to eat.
An additional plus is that staff is really very friendly throughout the hotel. A real pleasure.
To be recommended.

We arrived with reservations for a business class room and were offered an upgrade to a suite for the cost of parking. Upon stepping into the suite we could not have been happier that the reception staff had made the offer/recommendation. The view was grand and the room spectacular with a view of the city and water. Our room, 602, is highly recommended. The staff was marvelous, making recommendations on places to visit and the importance of caution during the annual marching. The bartender made a fantastic margarita, even though he confessed to being a bit rusty. Breakfast went beyond excellent. We hand an exceptional stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights in June on business. Check-in was nice and quick, and the staff were very helpful, giving me a map of the city so I wouldn't get lost was a nice touch. Room was nice and spacious, overlooking the water feature. The bed was very soft and quite difficult to leave in the morning.

Had a free evening the first night I was there so hit the bar for a few drinks. The barman (wore glasses, Aaron I think) was excellent, very friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. Gave me some great suggestions on food and drink combinations and also on where to head into town. A credit to your fantastic team of staff.

Breakfast was also very good. Great selection of food, both hot and cold and was replenished as quick as it disappeared. Clearly a lot of other satisfied guests!

An excellent hotel, close to the city for the entertainment and far enough away from the noise. Will definitely be requesting to stay here again if I'm heading to Belfast on business in the future.

Belfast has become a great place to visit, and this higher end chain hotel is very well placed to give visitors access to the city and its key locations. Very good location within 10 easy minutes walk to City Hall and the centre of town. This place is very stylish and comfortable, but dont opt for breakfast... Instead treat yourself to one of the more cost effective optiond the City has to offer!

Stayed here while on a CIE bus tour. Found it to be a bit "cold" as compared to the comfy and quaint hotels previously enjoyed. Belfast was a bit of a cold city and not nearly as clean and friendly as was Dublin and the countryside enjoyed to this point. Hotel appeared to be furnished by Ikea..... restaurant was a bit stark, but fairly efficient with a good dinner and a good breakfast buffet..... but not quite the quality of those experienced in the previous 2 weeks. Room was large enough and comfortable with clean baths. Did not feel comfortable walking around in Belfast area.... perhaps it was from being a bit tired, but others on tour felt same way.
