Had my birthday breakfast today at slim's kitchen. I really liked the decor of the place. The menu for brunch was great, however i wish there had been a drinks menu somewhere as the smoothies passing by the table looked ace. I had the steak, spinach&poached eggs which were perfectly cooked. Hard to cut on a table that was really rickety though, would be great to get that fixed. Our waitress was nice but it took a few reminders&quite a wait to get a 2nd coffee to our table. She offered us frozen yoghurt which we were interested in&said she would be back in a moment, after clearing our plates, but she didn't return. When paying we saw all the lovely traybake/bars, it would have been nicer to know they were on offer from the start, they were a bit hidden away from our side of the restaurant. I would give the place another try at a different time, but hope the service would maybe improve.
