Owner description: The SS Nomadic is known as Titanic's little sister. Built at the same time, by the same people, in the same Harland and Wolff shipyard as Titanic, Nomadic brought those boarding the great liner at Cherbourg to the ship. That was the start of an adventurous life, as she played a part in WW One and Two, carried many famous people to the great trans-Atlantic liners, became a floating restaurant in Paris and was saved from being scrapped by the people of Belfast. Now completely refurbished as a visitor attraction, you can walk in the footsteps of history, learn her story, and become part of the new chapter of her dramatic existence.

“SS Nomadic Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2015 NEW

I visited the 'SS Nomadic' yesterday afternoon with my hubby and I have to say we had a fantastic experience. We managed to tag onto a 'guided' tour of the ship with Gayle (with a Y) who was extremely informative. She certainly knew her facts/history of this fine vessel and was also very clearly passionate about 'Nomadic' which was lovely to witness. She engaged very well with the group we were in and remembered all our names and addressed us by name frequently which was nice. Thanks also for encouraging me and hubby to dress up in period costume and for capturing the photographs of us at the bar. So glad we could experience 'Nomadic' she's a real treasure and deserves to continue to live a long life. Thank you we will be back again.

“Free guided tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2015 NEW

SS Nomadic is fantastic value at £5, or £3 as an add-on from Titanic Experence. You can walk around on your own, but a guided tour is free. I would highly recommend our guide Leo. He was just brilliant. Very knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic. The whole tour takes approx 50 minutes and takes you tip to stern, top to bottom. Wonderfully restored with original fixtures and fittings back in their original place, all in White Star design, exactly as Titanic would have been. In my opinion, SS Nomadic was the highlight of our trip, made special by Leo our guide. Thank you very much for a real eye opening experience.

“Nomadic a must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2015 NEW

We went and visited this great vessel before visiting Titanic exhibition and tour. This is the best thing to do as you get a great picture of the life before visiting the main Titanic exhibition .Nomadic is the last of the white star lines ships .She serviced and took passengers to and from Titanic. The tour was very well described in a very enthusiastic manner by our guide. The tour lasted about 50mins and you get to see all aspects of the ships life and the stories of the people who worked and travelled on her. The very cleaver use of film interacted with the tour and enhanced the overall experience ..This tour in my opinion was not a lot of money and well worth it...SEE THIS BEFORE TITANIC EXHIBITIOIN ...

took my kids to a birthday party which was on the boat. We had a great guide and really interesting tour. The boat itself is very nicely done and it does take you 100 years back :)
kids loved it, I loved it!
if you ever passing it, pop in for a guided tour, you'll enjoy it !

“Must do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2015 NEW

We had a great time on our trip to SS Nomadic and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Belfast. There is so much history and although the Titanic played its part, there's so much more. Would recommend taking the tour with the tour guide which lasts about an hour and then going off in your own time to explore, take photos and use the interactive stuff. Our tour guide was Ginny and she was fantastic.

A must do on a trip to Belfast.
